Our sheet metal fabrication service covers laser cutting, CNC bending, punching, stamping, welding, riveting and assembly, all handled in-house. Sheet thickness ranges from 0.5 mm to 6 mm, and parts can be produced as one-offs, prototypes, small batches or volume production runs.

Every job is reviewed by our engineers before production so that bend radii, hole spacing and tolerances match the way the part will actually be used. Typical parts include brackets, enclosures, chassis, panels and mounting plates.

We work with cold rolled steel, hot rolled steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel (304, 316), aluminium (5052, 6061) and copper. Standard sheet thicknesses run from 0.5 mm to 6 mm, with heavier gauges available on request.

Material certificates are supplied with every batch, and we can advise on the best grade for weight, corrosion resistance or formability if you are still at the design stage.

General sheet metal tolerances are held to +/-0.1 mm for cutting and +/-0.5 mm for formed features. Surface finishes include powder coating, painting, zinc plating, anodizing, brushing, polishing and silk-screen printing.

Standard lead time is 7-12 working days for prototypes and 2-4 weeks for production orders, depending on quantity and finishing.

Each batch is inspected against your drawing before dispatch. Our inspection centre carries out dimensional measurement, material verification and surface inspection, and can supply an inspection report or first article inspection (FAI) on request.

For repeat orders we keep the same bending programme and tooling on file so that every batch matches the first.
